The Crown Players, the acting troupe of both Robin Hood’s Medieval Faire and The Connecticut Renaissance Faire, is a group of interactive theatre performers who share a passion for history and creative storytelling.

Whether on stage or in the lanes, the Crown Players bring the audience into the legend of Robin Hood, set in 12th-century England.

We are looking for actors who can project strong, confident characters and encourage our audience to play along. The cast receives professional theatrical training tailored to their roles and experience levels.

The cast includes Robin Hood, Little John, Friar Tuck, Will Scarlett, Maid Marian, Sheriff of Nottingham, Prince John and others. We are open to non-traditional casting.
